Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Most donated cars find new life through auction or resale, providing quality vehicles to new drivers while generating funds to help local families. Even older models can be refurbished or sold for parts, contributing to our mission.

In Fresno, sedans are popular for daily commutes and family outings, making them a valued addition to our donation program.

Pickup Trucks
1990-present

Pickup trucks are often resold or used for parts and scrap metal. Their versatility makes them attractive to buyers, and they are in high demand for local work projects.

Given Fresno's agricultural roots, pickup trucks are essential for many local farmers and workers, making them a popular donation choice.

SUVs & Crossovers
1998-present

SUVs are commonly auctioned or resold, appealing to families and outdoor enthusiasts. They can also be broken down for parts if needed, aligning with our sustainability goals.

In Fresno's varying landscapes, SUVs are perfect for families needing space or adventure, contributing to their popularity among donors.

Motorcycles
1990-present

Motorcycles may be auctioned or sold at a fraction of their original price, attracting enthusiasts and collectors. Some may require parting out if they're not running.

With riding culture being popular in Fresno, donated motorcycles often find new homes with local riders looking for their next project.

RVs & Campers
2000-present

RVs can be sold at auction or refurbished for future camping adventures. They often attract buyers looking to travel or live on the road.

In Fresno, RVs are a great option for families wanting to explore California's beautiful outdoors, making them highly sought-after donations.

Boats
1995-present

Boats may be auctioned off or parted out, depending on their condition. Even non-running boats can still provide value through salvaging.

While Fresno is landlocked, many local residents enjoy boating at nearby lakes, so boats can be a fun and appreciated addition to our program.

Commercial Vehicles
2000-present

Commercial vehicles can be sold or auctioned, often appealing to small business owners or those looking for reliable work vehicles.

Commercial vehicles are vital in Fresno's busy economy. Donating such a vehicle can significantly impact local businesses and services.

Non-running Vehicles
All years

Even if a vehicle doesn’t run, it can be recycled for parts or sold at salvage value, contributing to our fundraising efforts.

We understand that many residents in Fresno may have a non-running vehicle taking up space, and we’re here to turn that into support for local services.

Condition guide

When you think about donating your vehicle, consider its condition. Cruz Fresno accepts both running and non-running vehicles, allowing you to donate even if your car is no longer in working order. Vehicles that are non-operational can still provide value through salvage and parts recycling. If your vehicle has been sitting for years or has mechanical issues, don’t worry — it can still make a difference!

However, vehicles with significant damage or those classified as junk may not qualify for our donation program. We encourage you to reach out to us for clarification on your specific vehicle's eligibility. Whether it’s a running car or a non-functional old friend, we’re here to assist you in making a valuable contribution to local families in need.
